collective advocacy for marginalised groups
sharq.org trained and mentored a collective of 10 activists from across the Arabic speaking region in storytelling for grassroots advocacy. the initiative included the delivery of a series of virtual workshops and the co-development of an advocacy campaign. (2022)
religious identity, activism and conversion
an oral history training programme delivered in Arabic to civil society actors who where then mentored in the production of story collections on topics related to religious identity. (2021-22)
policy paper: Bolstering Inclusiveness and the Arts in Lebanon
this 15-page policy paper supports Lebanon's cultural actors and the international donors that assist them as they seek to bolster an arts and culture sector shaken by economic, political and security crises. (2021)

in this series of six audio reports, grounded in a study of the fifty interviews that make up the oral history collection Peaceful Coexistence in the Diaspora, sharq.org explores the experiences of migrants and refugees and the impact of different factors on their ability to peacefully coexist with the various communities they come across and live among in their host countries.
