issue 9 of Sharq magazine is set to hit the stands in winter. its covers will contain a vibrant celebration of storytelling as a practice and storytellers as creative bridges. we will share some treasures from the 22-years-old sharq.org portfolio, and spotlight the work, values and creations of storytellers whose reflect the Arabic speaking region and its peoples.

Sharq is predominantly a print magazine. audiovisual elements will be featured on the magazine website alongside select writings and images, but for the most part we worship at the altar of analogue.
