Sharq.Org is a non-profit organisation that works to promote and strengthen peace and pluralism throughout the Arab region and beyond.
Our work centres around promoting pluralism in a world populated by diverse people and yet where narratives often promote othering, oppression and supremacy. We promote and facilitate the growth of pluralistic attitudes through four core activity pillars.
ORAL HISTORY
We create and share inclusive collections of stories of lived experiences narrated by diverse people to explore issues, events and places of universal interest and impact.
