Taboohat: multilingual essay collection about women and othering

Taboohat is a collection of fifty essays and articles produced by members of Collectiva Shamila. The collection – published in Arabic, Kurdish Sorani, Tamazight, French and English – aims to address unconscious biases that promote othering by exploring a multitude of taboos that often prevent women from active sociopolitical participation, including work, abortion and harassment.
